An Instagram story: Our wedding, honeymoon and moving.
As I said in the last post I have been so busy of the past few weeks; getting married, going on our honeymoon and then moving to the country. It seemed the easiest way to blog about these occasions with out completely overwhelming everyone was to just make a quick collection of the photos I took on instagram. Our wedding was gorgeous and exactly how we wanted it; short, sweet and comfortable. And our honeymoon was amazing and relaxing. We stayed in a little cabin near the beach and pretty much just chilled out for a week. Billy took me to dinner and gelati, then a movie (A few best men) for valentines day and also bought me a new Hurley jacket. He also took me to a wildlife park, which was amazing. I cuddled a kangaroo and patted a wombat! I was so attached to the wombat after patting it, feeding it and having it follow me around that Billy bought me a wombat teddy to remember the trip by. When we got home we packed up our caravan at my parents place and moved it to the country, to live on a big property with Billy's family. I was able to take my lovely kitty, Unit, up there as well, after not being allowed it at my parents. Everything is amazing in the country, it's so quiet and peaceful. We are looking at buying our own block of land in the future and building our dream house on it. Lots of Budgeting ahead!
Anyhoo, I have some reviews coming up on this months Bella and Glossy boxes and a few other little things I have picked up recently that I will put up today. So until then.. xo

My kitty cat - Unit, pepsi max on the way to town, my panda pillow billy bought me, my new iphone 4s with panda cover, finally organised my makeup drawer, Subway salad for my 'must fit into wedding dress' diet, Sammy and Max cuddling, my favourite strongbow sweet, a strange place to put a spoiler on a getz.
An insight in to my life for the last 2 weeks. Not very interesting hey, well these are the photos I have managed to take while packing up my room and the caravan at my parents house getting ready to move down to Two Wells after we get married. Last week of work this week before we have two weeks off. Only 10 days until I become a wife. I'm excited as anything!! When I get around to it I do have some more product reviews to pop up, just haven't taken many photos recently due to all the rushing about.

Lush Hair Care Samples
Last night I tried out my Lush hair care samples that I managed to pick up on the weekend. The sales assistant suggested I try Rehab shampoo, Veganese conditioner and R&B leave in hair treatment. All of them smelt great so I was very eager to try them out. I used about a quarter tub of the shampoo and although that is not as much shampoo as I would usually use, it lathered up really well and I was able to shampoo my hair as normal. Rehab filled my shower is a gorgeous pepperminty scent. Rehab is meant to help repair any damages done to your hair by colouring, heat styling and so on. The veganese conditioner is quite thick and I used about half the tub mainly on the end of my hair working up to my scalp. Veganese is very lemony fresh, and although I much preferred the peppermint scent, I was not put off at all by this conditioner. I left it in my hair while I washed my face and body as normal and then rinsed while combing my hair with my fingers. After towel drying my hair I already noticed a difference in my hair. It was not frizzy or boofy at all. I was actually able to let my hair air dry once applying the R&B leave in hair treatment and wear my hair out wavy, something I haven't been able to do in a LONG time. The hair treatment is very floral and jasmine scented and not everyones cup of tea, while both me and my partner quite enjoyed it. If I was extremely cashed up, I would be purchasing a big bottle of both Rehab and Veganese as the retail for around $33 each. I definitely will be purchasing the R&B leave in hair treatment though for around $20 when the sample runs out, as my hair is short, and I only have to use a very small amount, the sample will last me ages. I believe this weekend we are popping back down to Lush to grab a solid shampoo bar, Godiva, as it is a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner and see how that pans out as they are a lot cheaper at $13.50 a bar.
EDIT: So, when I went back on the weekend, I ended up getting the 250ml bottles of Rehab and Veganese. They are the best shampoo and conditioner I have ever used, by far! And I couldn't pass it up since my partner was all for it. Lucky me!!

Lush Goodies
On the weekend we visited Lush in the city to grab some fun things for our hotel stay/honeymoon. We ended up leaving with more than we bargained for with 2 massage bars, a bubble bar and some hair care samples. The massage bars are wiccy magic muscle bar and strawberry feels forever and let me tell you now, THEY ARE AMAZING! They make you feel so relaxed and makes it so easy for your partner to massage your back for long periods of time, due to how greasy they are. The wiccy magic muscles bar has a very strong cinnamon scent and is so very relaxing. as for working on my sore neck and shoulders, I think I would need to do it every night for a week before any results showed. The strawberry feels forever is gorgeous, the scent is divine and different from any strawberry scent I have smelt before. My partner thinks it is the best smell ever, meaning he rubs my back for an extra long time when he uses this one haha. The bubble bar is called the comforter and smells like blackcurrant and apparently makes pink bubbles, which I can't wait to try on our hotel stay and honey moon. I also got small samples of veganese conditioner, re-hab shampoo and R&B leave in hair treatment, which I will review once I have used them sometime this week.
I love Lush and the unique scents and products they create and especially that they are all natural and mostly all are vegan. If I had the money I would definitely be swapping all my hair care, and skin care needs for Lush products.

Mirenesse Samples
Left:: Eye brow Lift and Shape, Skin Clone Mineral Pressed Powder, 3D Lash Extension Primer, Maybelline Full and Soft Mascara in Brownish Black.
Right: Maybelline Full and Soft Mascara in Brownish Black.Recently I received these great samples from Mirenesse, so I put them to the test. I was soo surprised at how long the 3D Lash Extension Primer actually made my lashes. As you can see by the photo on the right I have quite short lashes. I have tried SOO many different mascaras to make them look fuller or longer but all the did was make my eye lashes clumpy and look terrible. Funnily enough I swear by Maybellines Full 'N Soft Mascara, which was the first type of mascara my mum ever bought me when I turned 16. The photo on the left shows how much of a difference the primer made to my lashes, most impressed to have this product for my wedding. The brow lift and shape is maybe just not for me. I have dark eyebrows to begin with, and this just seems to make them stand out like big hairy caterpillars on my face. Maybe I am just not used to having a filled in eyebrow or something.. I'm not sure, but I am not fully sold on this yet. And last but not least the Skin Clone Powder. This stuff is amazing. It goes on so well with a sponge and covers LOADS. As you can see from the picture on the left, my under eye redness is almost completely covered by this powder alone. I am most impressed by this! As these are only samples I am considering purchasing the 3D lash primer and the powder when they run out as these are two of the BEST! products I have come across in a long time.
Bella Box January 2012
Was quite impressed with this month box. After looking at what ILoveThisBox had going in their box this month I felt super glad I had cancelled and moved to bellabox. I feel like I got so many different things to try this month. The Violent Lips are something I was recently discussing with my Fiancee and we both agreed how cool they were and how funny it would be to try them out. Sadly I go a leopard print one, which I am not quite in to but still willing to give it a go for funzies. The Pangera Organics lip balm is amazing and is orange scented and really lovely to put on. It feels like it lasts ages and my fiancee likes it too, so thats a bonus. Sparoma lavender pulse point aroma is something I wouldn't expect in a beauty box, but something I am greatful to have now. I love essential oils, especially ones that help relive stress and head aches. I got two different perfumes, Halloween Kiss and Halloween Kiss Sexy. I am not too keen on the Sexy version as it sort of fades very quickly and is not very strong, but the original Halloween Kiss smells gorgeous and nice and sweet. I have gone off tea for a while now, but am excited to try out these detox teas, trying too lose weight for my wedding and i'll try just about anything haha. After seeing a program on TV about harmful chemicals in sun cream I was most thrilled to get this organic sun cream, which is in flat packs, great for my handbag with the lemon towelette, another odd thing for a beauty box. The face and body cream is paraben free which is great as most of mine contain parabens at the moment and I am slowly trying to phase that out, so that gives me another great product to try.
I am very impressed with bella box this month and will certainly be keeping my subscription with them, despite GlossyBoxes calls and emails trying to persuade me back to them. Considering GlossyBox haven't even posted their boxes yet.. I don't think I will be returning to them any time soon.
